Our Portable Spas
Design features that make Spa One spas a quality product include the insulation method we use, our barrier free seating, large jets and automatic air bleed system. This is all backed up with friendly and helpful after sales service.
* Our spas are more efficient because of how we insulate them
All Spa One spas are made with full foam insulation. This means our spas are filled with high density, closed cell polyurethane, making them very energy efficient, we have proved it. We’ve had our spas independently tested with great results. The S40 was set at 38°C in an ambient temperature of 10°C. The spa used an average of 4.59 kWh per day with the cover off for one hour and the jets, air and light on for half an hour. So if you used your Spa One spa for an hour a day, the cost is going to be approx $1 per day.
Some spas on the market are poorly insulated often having only a thin layer of foam on the shell and nothing on the pipe work these are sold as fully insulated spa pools! Basically, they are hollow underneath which can result in massive heat loss and increases running costs. You will end up with much higher power bills.
* Barrier free seating
We use unrestricted seating. One of the nice things about spas is to be able to move around freely as you are weightless in water. There is no need for special seats that dictate how and where you sit.
“I like the bench seating as I can slide around easily. We love our spa, the grandkids love it, and so do our neighbours!”
--Jill and Don
* The Jets
We only use large jets that flow a lot of water to give you a powerful yet relaxing massage. They use a combination of air and water. We avoid the use of small jets that tend to be quite needle like and can sting your skin.
* Automatic air-bleed system
Our spas are fitted with an automatic air-bleed system. So when you fill your spa from empty there is no need to loosen the unions under the spa to release air locks from the pipe work.
